Nike Air Force 1 Foamposite - Black History Month
This Air Force 1 uses Foamposite technology on the upper with a design and colorway inspired by Black History Month.
The Nike Air Force 1 was the first basketball shoe to contain Nike's air technology and quickly became one of Nike's biggest shoes. Charles Barkley and other NBA stars of the time endorsed them and the shoes became wildly popular. The rapper Nelly and his group the St. Lunatics released a 2002 hit single about buying the shoes titled "Air Force Ones." Kanye West, Nas, Rakim and KRS-One collaborated on a Grammy-nominated single also about the sneakers called "Classic (Better Than I've Ever Been)" in 2007.
Several leather textures on the upper and padded ankle give it the comfortable fit and style that the Air Force 1s are known for.
Midsole includes a heel Air-Sole for shock absorption.
Solid rubber outsole provides durable traction.
Features speckles on the midsole for a different look and feel on the classic shoe.
