Mitchell & Ness
What started as a sporting goods store by Frank P. Mitchell and his Scottish partner golfer Charles M. Ness in 1904 became a uniform manufacturer for the community. Between 1925 and 1933, Mitchell & Ness went pro as the outfitter of the Philadelphia Eagles. Growing popularity in the league pushed Mitchell & Ness to recreated vintage jerseys in 1983, and then progressing to major sports leagues such as the NBA. The retail store is still today a destination for professional athletes, sportscasters and celebrities who visit Philadelphia. A true creator of authentic, vintage sportswear heir quality and variety has continued to make them popular to this day.
