Share This Page: Air Jordan XI Low "True Red" Celebrating it's 30th anniversary, the Jordan Brand has released a lot of heavy hitters this year. To help bring the heat, one of the classics is seeing a new iteration in the Air Jordan XI Low "True Red," easily becoming one of the summer's most sought after sneakers. The XI silhouette helped welcome Michael back to the NBA when he wore a prototype at the beginning of Chicago’s second-round series against the Orlando Magic in 1995. Michael wore these kicks during the filming of the classic movie, Space Jam. These sneakers helped MJ and the Bulls pull-off the recording-breaking 72-win championship 1995-1996 season, and in the playoffs Jordan donned the “True Red” colorway to the envy of a nation. The sneaker has a black mesh and patent leather upper with a red liner. A white midsole separates the black upper from the semi-translucent red outsole, all of which imparts one of the most coveted colorways on these kicks. As with the High version of this silhouette, the Low sports an embroidered Jump Man on the heel and the carbon-fiber spring plate. Available in stores only starting on May 23, so check your local City Gear. They are available in Men’s at $170, grade schoolers at $120, pre-schoolers at $75, and toddlers at $55.
