CG Bumps: Fresh tracks from Gucci Mane, Future, Chance the Rapper, and more

Gucci Mane – All My Children (Prod. by Drumma Boy)

“Making rockstars out of trap boys / And if we never talk again, still got your back boy”

Spread over Drumma Boy’s earth-shaking bass booms and arpeggiated synthesizers, “All My Children” sees Big Guwop reminding the world of his vast influence on the industry, specifically the rappers he “fathered” to stardom. The king is back.

NxWorries (Anderson.Paak & Knxwledge) – Suede

Murky drum breaks, faded sample chops, and smoky serenades, NxWorries is 2016 XXL Freshman Anderson.Paak on vocals and wavy beatlord Knxwledge on the 1’s & 2’s. “Suede” stretches Gil Scott Heron samples over sleepy percussion work, with Paak’s signature raspy crooning infinitely complimenting the goopy production.

Future ft. Lil Uzi Vert – Too Much Sauce (Prod. by Zaytoven)

Future enlisted the help of on-the-come-up talent Lil Uzi Vert and ATL production guru Zaytoven for the energetic “Too Much Sauce”. 3 minutes & 37 seconds of major key piano swells, slurred snare rolls, and dreamy vocal layers – no doubt a 2016 summer anthem.

Chance The Rapper ft. 2 Chainz & Lil Wayne – No Problem

“No Problem” is a shining example of why Lil Chano’s “Coloring Book” will top many 2016 album of the year lists: uplifting, gospel-inspired production, Chance’s energetic yet soulful vocal play, and heavyweight features (this time from GOATs 2 Chainz & Weezy). The video, directed by Skim Nasty and Chano himself, features cameos from DJ Khaled, Young Thug, and various other industry vets to further Chance’s status as a new-school icon.
