Share This Page: Sneaker Spotlight: Kyrie Low 1 Kyrie Irving is one of the NBA’s brightest stars. Not only is the 26 year old a 5x All-Star, he’s an NBA champion clinching a title alongside LeBron James as member of the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016. The sharpshooting point guard was traded to the Boston Celtics before the 2017-2018 season and continued to impress averaging 22 points and 5.1 assists while leading the young Boston team to second best record in the Eastern conference. His spectacular handles and otherworldly feats on court have driven his Nike line to be one of the most popular signature shoes in basketball. Now alongside the super successful Kyrie 4 Nike is debuting the new Kyrie Low a low top model designed for comfort. The shoe features a callback to the original Kyrie 1 with its studded heel and midfoot strap. The midfoot strap includes an inverted swoosh at the end and several Kyrie related easter eggs show up as usual. The highest lace hole is designed as a triangle with an eye in it, while his Just Be You branding appears just above the KI on the medial midfoot of the shoe. The sole is a complete departure from the Kyrie 4 and features Zoom Air throughout the entire foot. The traction pattern of the outsole is bullseye shaped as a homage to the Kyrie’s shooting prowess. The initial drop of the Kyrie Low comes in white with a gum rubber outsole and dynamic black strap. Where does this Kyrie rank all-time?
