Share This Page: Nike Air Foamposite One "Gone Fishing" The Nike Air Foamposite One “Gone Fishing” is the latest colorway for the famed silhouette, releasing just in time to accompany the NBA while the league is "on vacation." This sneaker gets its name from what the NBA crew on TNT when they refer to a team getting knocked out of the Playoffs. If a big name from a playoff team gets defeated, the TNT crew show a picture of what the team will be doing during the offseason as a spoof- going fishing. These kicks will be released soon after the final team, either the Cavaliers or the Warriors, is eliminated from the Playoffs. The Foamposite shell of the “Gone Fishing” is an iridescent emerald green overlaid with a fish scale design. Black nubuck wraps around from the toe box to the heel. Hints of red hit the Nike Swoosh, Penny One Cent logo on the tongue, and the sock liner. A fish bone insignia on the heel and a custom “Gone Fishing” sign on the insole of the sneaker hammer the theme home. The sneaker has a carbon plate in the midfoot, and the Foamposite upper is lightweight yet durable and gives the sneaker a modern look. The translucent icy sole and a red Penny One Cent logo on the outsole finish out these kicks for a summer-time look. As an added bonus, this silhouette comes with a mesh bag resembling a fishing net. The Nike Air Foamposite One “Gone Fishing” drops on June 20th, in stores and online. They will be available in Men’s at $250, grade schooler’s at $180, pre-schooler’s at $100, toddler’s at $65 and crib shoes at $50. Be sure to cop a pair before they are gone.
