Share This Page: Nike CJ3 Flyweave Trainer "Paintball" In accordance with Calvin Johnson's record as an amazing player and athlete, Nike launched the CJ3 Flyweave Trainer this past May. If you're unfamiliar with the sneaker, it's a great trainer that'll kick your game into high gear. The Nike CJ3 Flyweave Trainers rock some of Nike’s best tech. The Flyweave upper creates a durable yet lightweight fit to stabilize your foot, and the Flywire cables wrap the foot, giving arch-support and assist in lateral movements. A springy midsole provides excellent cushion, and six visible Hexagonal Zoom Air units provide targeted cushioning. A nubby node pattern on the outsole provides traction for a variety of surfaces. This Saturday, Nike is rolling out a new colorway for the CJ3 trainer - the "Paintball." The Nike CJ3 Flyweave Trainer "Paintball" is a stark contrast to the Peach's dark hues and is a throwback to an incident that happened in his college days involving a paintball gun. The metallic silver upper is accented by neon yellow, pink and blue splattered on the sock-liner, lace eyelets and the Swoosh on the side panel. The paint-splattered accents and pink Swoosh on the toe box pop due to the neutral upper. Furthering this theme, a target covered in paint graces the heel of this sneaker. The midsole is white speckled with paint droplets, and the outsole is icy blue. The Nike CJ3 Flyweave Trainer “Paintball” will be available online on June 26 in Men’s at $160, so cop a pair to add some vivid color to your look.
