The Kobe 11’s nod to Black History Month is not as overt as other sneakers, but it does get the message across. The upper starts at the toe box in royal blue, then the blue blends into the standard multicolored theme of BHM, and finally it fades to black on the heel. The upper is accented by the red “stitches” on the left heel, and a blue and yellow circle surrounds the Sheath logo on the tongue. These kicks are contrasted by the white Swoosh and sole unit. Nike LeBron 13 ‘BHM Join LeBron James in celebrating Black History Month with the latest iteration of his signature sneaker from Nike, the ‘BHM’. Perhaps the boldest of the Nike Signature Basketball BHM 2016 series, the LeBron 13’s Hyperfuse upper is completely draped in the tribal, vivid theme, while the Hyperposite overlays are matte black. The laces, tongue, and liner follow the theme of the overlays and the Lion lace lock and the ‘BHM’ logo are royal blue. The midsole is solid white, and the outsole is a mix of white and icy blue. The Nike LeBron 13 ‘BHM’ drops on Monday, Jan. 18th, in stores and online. They will be in Men’s for $220 and grade schoolers’ for $165. Nike KD 8 ‘BHM’ Kevin Durant and Nike want you to join them in celebrating all of the African America athletes of history with the KD 8 ‘BHM’ Easily one of the most understated in the Basketball BHM series, the Flyweave upper of the KD 8 is predominately black. The ‘BHM’ colors hit the laces, tongue and Swoosh, and the midsole is white with multicolored speckles. The full-length Zoom Air unit and the outsole are translucent blue, and finally the ‘BHM’ logo is stamped on the heel. Nike Kyrie 2 ‘BHM’ Jumping in for its Black History Month treatment, the Kyrie 2 celebrates the greats who came before Irving’s time. The upper of this sneaker stands in a classic black, while the tribal pattern of the ‘BHM’ theme is incorporated on the midfoot strap and laces. Royal blue accents stand out on the Kyrie branding, ‘BHM’ logo on the heel, and the lace aglets. The eye-catching midsole displays colors in red, orange, and blue, and these colors wrap around the outsole as well. The clean white Swooshes contrast the black and multicolored theme of this sneaker. The Nike Kyrie 2 ‘BHM’ will be available on Monday, Jan. 18th, in stores and online.
