Share This Page: adidas Originals brings back OG Micropacer When adidas first released the adidas Micropacer at the L.A. Olympics in 1984, it was far ahead of its time. A microprocessor in the tongue of the shoe could calculate various running statistics like average pace, distance and calories burned. The silver leather had never been seen before on sneakers, so most people passed on it. Even the pocket in the right foot for change and keys was a little too far out for some. For the 30th anniversary, though, adidas is bringing this now retro kick back in full force with everything the original had. These will drop August 16, so don't miss out on them again.
