Share This Page: Brand Spotlight: Adidas August - D Rose 3.5 x Jeremy Scott, T-ZX Runner Hey sneakerheads. This month we'd like to examine the Summer '13 line-up of adidas brand releases, both recent and slated for upcoming release. The adidas hype kicked off in recent weeks with the unveil of the D Rose 3.5 x Jeremy Scott, a signature shoe by the iconic fashion designer, made exclusively for the Chicago Bulls superstar. “I really wanted to meld my world and Derrick’s world,” said Jeremy Scott. “I used his shoes as a canvas and created the coolest cherubs in the world for this shoe.” The shoe features a clean, white full synthetic patent leather upper with printed detailed cherubs in various poses and positions with different accessories. The shoe features the D Rose logo in black on the outside of the tongue, and the Jeremy Scott logo on back of the tongue and sockliner. The D Rose 3.5 x JS limited edition are now available in select City GEAR stores for $225, as of July 6th, 2013. Next up we'd like to look at the T-ZX Runner, the newest addition to the AMR family. Described as a mix of modern innovation and adidas heritage, the T-ZX Runner combines the outsole tooling of the traditional ZX 700 with new AMR technology, first unveiled back in February 2013. The T-ZX Runner has a synthetic AMR upper with molded 3-Stripes and a microperf vamp, and also features a synthetic nubuck collar and overlay. Reflective heel and toe cap details make the kicks pop, while an EVA midsole and a TPU wrapped outsole maintain the technological edge that adidas are known for. The T-ZX Runner retails at $120, and is available for purchase at select City GEAR stores as of July 1st, 2013. That's all for today, but keep it here for more as it develops.
