Share This Page: Brand Spotlight: Akoo Also known as AKOOand A.K.O.O., this contemporary streetwear brand is an acronym for “A King Of Oneself.” The brand was founded by Grand Hustle Records co-founders T.I. and Jason Geter in 2008. T.I. is a Grammy-award winning rapper, actor and record producer from Atlanta. He and Jason Geter met when T.I. was about 18-years-old. Geter helped him release his first record deal and became his manager from then on out. The Akoo clothing line features denim, graphic T-shirts, snapbacks and other accessories. In 2011, B.o.B. joined Akoo’s Clothing Ambassador program and often wears Akoo when he performs. T.I. and his wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris have their own reality show on VH1 called “T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle,” and T.I. is often shown sporting Akoo. T.I. is also the founder of the brand Hustle Gang.
