Brand Spotlight: L.A.T.H.C.

L.A.T.H.C. is an acronym for "Los Angeles Tree House Club." Although the name doesn't refer to an actual club, the group of friends that founded the brand said THC helped them develop the idea of creating a clothing line. The apparel brand was founded in 1997 as a response to what the founders considered stale streetwear style. Their product line features graphic tees, tanks, snapbacks, hoodies and shorts. Their designs often draw heavily from geometric, historic and naturalistic elements like ancient Egyptian art, modern art and natural disasters like volcanoes and tornadoes. Their main goal as a brand is to give streetwear enthusiasts high quality pieces that they can build a distinct style around. L.A.T.H.C. has been spotted on hip hop artists and producers like Meek Mill, 2 Chainz and Gucci Mane.
