Brand Spotlight: Slowbucks

Slowbucks was founded in 2009 by Windsor “Slow” Lubin and Rodney “Bucks” Charlemagne. The brand uses a snail as its logo, which represents motivation. They use the tag line “Viral Wear” as a reference to music and videos that are consumed en masse. Lubin and Charlemagne also operate SLOWBUCKSTV, a website where musicians can network with each other and gain exposure. Lubin has served as the marketing consultant for Diplomat Records, and Charlemagne has served as senior vice president of Skull Gang Entertainment. Since its inception, Slowbucks clothing, which includes T-shirts, hoodies, jackets, crewnecks and pants, has been seen on celebrities such as Juelz Santana, Snoop Lion (previously Snoop Dogg,) Waka Flocka, Jadakiss, Styles P, Chris Brown and more [caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="608"] Wacka Flocka wearing Slowbucks.[/caption]   [caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="600"] Snoop Lion (Snoop Dogg) with Rodney “Bucks” Charlemagne.[/caption] slowbuckslooks
