Coming dressed in several different hues of purple, the “Draft Pick” is predominately Court Purple, but it has underlying gold accents. The toe and midsole are different shades of purple. The black laces and liner compliment the purple upper, and the white Swoosh contrasts the darker hues covering the rest of the sneaker. The look is finished out with a gold translucent outsole. The Nike Kobe X Elite Low “Draft Pick” will available on Friday, Oct. 30th, in stores and online. These kicks will be in Men’s for $200. Air Jordan Spike 40 The Jordan Brand is dropping the new Spike Lee collaboration, and it takes its name from Lee’s 40 Acres and a Mule film production company. This sneaker borrows hues from the New York Knicks, Spike Lee’s favorite team. This silhouette borrows elements from the Air Jordan V. The lace toggle, reflective tongue, and molded collar of this sneaker are all borrowed from its Air Jordan ancestor. Contemporary tech and materials give these older features a fresh look. The upper is majorly blue mess with orange peeking out from underneath. Blue reflective details around the lace eyelets, collar, and the heel. The Nike, Jordan, and Spike Lee branding are bright orange against the vibrant upper. Molded to reference Mars Blackmon and Lee’s production company. The midsole is black, speckled with orange, and white, with a blue and orange outsole. The outsole pattern spells SPIKE in bright orange. The Air Jordan Spike 40 drops on Sunday, November 1st, in stores and online. They will be available in Men’s for $180, grade schoolers’ for $130, preschoolers’ for $80, and toddlers’ for $60. Grab a pair of these, and show Spike Lee and Jordan some love.
