Share This Page: Jordan Son of Mars Combining the best of some of the most well known sneakers of all time, the Jordan Son of Mars is like the Voltron of Jordan sneakers. Not just another hybrid, the Son of Mars is a celebration of the shared history of Michael Jordan and Spike Lee. It is made of aspects from the Jordan III, IV, V, VI, and the Jordan XX. The most iconic features of this sneaker are the AJ 3 elephant print bookending the sneaker, the AJ V midsole, high ankle support of the AJ VI, and the midfoot lasered strap of the AJ XX. As a tribute to Spike Lee, the sneaker is named for Lee’s Mars Blackmon commercials that promoted the Jordan III through VI. The latest rendition of the Son of Mars is dressed predominately in white leather with the hallmarks of the Son of Mars silhouette. The shoe's upper is bookended with light grey elephant print, and the lasered midfoot strap is clean white. These kicks have pops of Fire Red on the Jumpman logo on the tongue and heel as well as on the pull tab. Black contrasts pepper the tongue, pull tab, and molded mesh. The silhouette is finished with the classic AJ V icy outsole. The Jordan Son of Mars “Fire Red” is in stores only. They are available in Men’s for $160, grade schooler’s for $130, preschooler’s for $75, and toddler’s for $55. Check out Where to Cop for details.
