Share This Page: Nike Air Max 95 PREM "Wheat" Fall is here, and it’s time for harvest. Nike has reaped a killer “Wheat” Air Max 95, and it’s ready for market, but have you ever wanted to know what's so great about anything "Wheat?" The “Wheat” colorway has been at the top of many sneakerheads’ lists for years. The 90s brought the revolution of celebrities wearing Timberlands during shows and music videos. Nike picked up on this trend and have been dropping sneaker after sneaker dressed in Wheat. The Air Max 95 is one of the most coveted silhouettes in the Air Max line, combine that with the hottest fall colorway, and the Nike Air Max 95 “Wheat” could be the top seller in this year’s “Wheat” collection. With construction inspired by human anatomy, the Nike Air Max 95 was an instant classic, and it is the most recognizable in the Air Max line of sneakers. First released in 1995, the Air Max 95 was conceived in the mind of legendary designer Sergio Lozano. While he received negative feedback during the development, the 95 is considered by many to be “The Air Max.” The sneaker saw some innovation with the layered construction, 270-degree air unit and the air unit in the forefoot. The air units in this silhouette had varying PSI in the heel. Constructed with layers of wheat and beige nubuck, the Air Max 95 “Wheat” is a fantastic addition to the “Wheat” collection. Beige mesh and brown lace loops add some different hues to the upper, and the inner liner is dark brown. The neutral upper sits atop grey-green midsole with visible air units, and the “Wheat” look is completed by the gum outsole. The Nike Air Max 95 PREM “Wheat” will be available Thursday, Nov. 12th, in stores and online. It will be in Men’s for $170, so cop these kicks for a great fall fit.
