This Week In Shoes: Question Mid, Air Max Hyperposite, Mutumbo, Fear Pack (8/19 - 8/24)

We're coming up on the end of the August release calendar, but as far as we're concerned, the heavy hitters have saved the best for last. This week marks a multitude of first-timers, along with some special editions that we've been anticipating.

Question Mid - Royal/White

Dropping for the first time this Friday is Reebok's Question Mid (V46904), in a Royal Blue/Primary White combo reflecting Allen Iverson's #1 Overall Draft Pick in the legendary 1996 NBA draft. Check the blue suede upper, complimented by subtle red accents. The shoe also features a speckle effect across the midsole. This Allen Iverson original drops for the first time on Friday, August 19, at $125, so be sure to get it while it's hot.

Air Max Hyperposite - Tropical Teal

Air Max Hyperposite

Air Max fans will be in luck this week, as Nike launches the new Air Max Hyperposite (524862-303) in a first-ever tropical teal colorway. The teal is complimented smoothly by yellow accents throughout, giving the shoe a very sleek, sophisticated vibe. You can pick this one up starting Saturday, August 24, for $225.

Air Veer - White/White-Black

Air Veer

Nike continues to cultivate the Air Veer with new colorways, and this week marks no exception. The Air Veer White/White-Black (599442-101) provides stark, perfectly-inverted contrast to the Black/Black-White colorway released in recent months. You can pick it up this Saturday for $120.

Mutumbo - Black/White/Red

It's been quite a while, but adidas is ready to unveil the much-hyped re-release of their legendary Mutumbo (Q33018) shoe. This release marks the 20th anniversary of the original Mutumbo run, which strove to highlight Mutumbo's signature defensive style along with his African heritage.  The good news is that it launches this Saturday and is only $105. I didn't say there was bad news.

FEAR PACK - Air Jordan

After so many releases, the Air Jordan line has had to develop some unique ways to remain fresh. This pack, featuring multiple new colorways, does exactly that, and you need to check them out to see what the fear's about. Look for them in select City Gear stores when they launch this Saturday, August 24.
