Air Jordan 8 Retro ‘Sequoia’ – 305381-305 – 1/28/17 After a lot of lobbying, legendary designer Tinker Hatfield was able to convince Nike to take all of their branding off of the Air Jordan 8, making it the first Jordan silhouette to do so. During its time, the Air Jordan 8 was a silhouette which employed some of the top technology. The cross-straps provide complete lockdown, while the higher cut and extra padding around the ankle achieve maximum support. A combo of the anti-torsion plate and the air unit, support and cushion the foot. The outsole rocks the same tonal theme as the midsole, and a unique pattern provides traction. Taking flight this Saturday, the upper of this edition of the AJ 8 is constructed from Sequoia Green neoprene. The tongue is stitched with a Sequoia and Max Orange Jumpman logo. The midsole on the AJ 8 normally sports varying colorful hues, but on this colorway we are treated to shades of black. The insole and outsole display hints of Max Orange. The Air Jordan 8 Retro ‘Sequoia’ will be dropping on Saturday, Jan. 28th, in stores only. It will be available in men’s sizes for $190 and grade school sizes for $140.
