This Week's Heat: Air Jordan Kid's 13 Retro and Nike LeBron XV

Two hot styles are coming out this week: Air Jordan Kid's 13 Retro and Nike LeBron XV. Both are made for ballin', one in a classic silhouette and the other an ultra-modern take on basketball sneakers. Each kick is oozing style and sure to match you fit, so be sure to stop by your local City Gear to cop these this week.

Air Jordan Kid's 13 Retro GG 'Bordeaux' - 10/28/17 - 439358-112

Air Jordan Kid's 13 Retro

This world is a jungle and you must always be on the prowl. Step lightly and with purpose in the Air Jordan Kids Retro 13 (439358-112). Originally released in 1997, the AJ 13s are inspired by the black panther, donning multiple characteristics of the jungle cat for a fierce and unique look.

These grade school kicks sport leather or textile uppers that sit on top of paw-like rubber outsoles for enhanced gripe and to permit stealthy movements. Nike Zoom Air gives responsive cushioning with excellent bounceback for quick pouncing while foam midsoles and interior shank planks support the feet and protect against impact. Green holographic jewels placed on the shoes’ rears mimic panther eyes and feature translucent icons (basketball, Jumpman, and number 23) for a mysterious vibe. The Bordeaux/Sail colorway completes the shoes for a clean sophisticated feel.

The Air Jordan Kid's 13 Retro GG 'Bordeaux' will be available Saturday, October 28th, in-store only, so check Where to Cop for more info. They will be in Kid's sizes for $140.

Nike LeBron XV 'Ashes' - 10/28/17 - 897648-002

Nike LeBron XV

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. If luck doesn’t get you there than your passion must. And no one radiates passion more than thirteen time NBA All-Star Lebron “King James” James. James never lets his love for the game wane even when support from his fans does. After becoming an unrestricted free agent in July of 2010, James publicly announced his decision to transfer to the Miami Heat, ending his seven-year run with his home team, the Cleveland Cavilers. Fans decided to show him some real heat after the deceleration resulted in abrupt backlash across the country and public condemnation by the burning of his Cavs jersey. Nevertheless, the hate only added fuel to his fire and he rose from the ashes before going on to score more points, win more awards, and kick more...ash.

Customarily, Nike was there to pay homage with the release of the Lebron XV “Ashes” (897648-002) These kicks are the first of their kind, featuring exclusive elements that were designed specifically for the 6’8” king. The uppers are composed of the brand new BattleKnit fabric. A remixed iteration of Nike Flyknit, BattleKnit is modern and stylish with a reinforced structure for thorough protection and strength. The textured fabric is designed with differing degrees of elasticity that add depth to its constitution while hugging the feet for a personalized secure fit during aggressive gameplay. The BattleKnit is accompanied by another shiny new piece of Nike technology, the BattleMax cushioning system. Presented as the love child between Nike Zoom Air and Air Max, BattleMax features characteristics of both to make up a plush lightweight padding that allows for amazing transitions, optimal impact protection, and responsive bounceback. May no hater formed against thee prosper in these one-of-a kind kicks fit for a king.

The Nike LeBron XV 'Ashes' will be available Saturday, October 14th, in select stores and online, so check Where to Cop for more info. They will be in Men's sizes for $185.
