In 1919 Bill and Abe Feinbloom founded the Knickerbocker Knitting Company in Rochester, New York. The company was renamed in the 1930s Champion Knitting Mills, Inc. College book stores stocked the company’s athletic apparel.

Through the 1930s until the 1970s, Champion introduced many new products to the sports world, including: the hooded sweatshirt, mesh gym shorts, and the sports bra. Since then they have been innovating on classic sportswear. In 2011, they launched Champion Eco Fleece, made from 5% recycled plastic, to help reduced plastics in landfills. In 2014, they unveiled Champion Vapor, clothing designed to dry faster as your body heat rises.

Champion provides comfortable and innovative apparel for all seasons.
